I photograph because I love to express situations and environments that are full of joy, wonderment, color or a hidden story. By searching for different angles, and perspectives I focus on the images, bringing forward my vision to another time or place, where I enjoy sharing these creations.
For the past 38 years I have either lived in the country or near the ocean, not to mention traveling to exotic and hole in the wall places, all the time looking for that unusual shot that may tell a deeper story or just be an example of life in the works.
When I take photographs I am in a moment; of delight, as I focus on design, light, color and image. Many photos can be taken on a journey. It is the special placement of light, color or texture that makes a particular photo the “one”; that grabs me. I hope one of mine, grabs you as well.
